During a wandering session in the beautiful Alaskan mountains, I heard rumors of a nearby trail being flooded to the point that it was “like a jungle.” The idea of sloshing my way through the mountains seemed like a fun enough idea that I rerouted my return trip for further investigation.
I mentioned a few things in this video and promised to put the links here in the description, so here they are:
First, I mentioned that I was working on a different video on the lower portion of the mountain. That video isn’t done yet, but when it is, I’ll post the link here.
Second, I was once again impressed by the pair of sandals I was wearing, and I said that I’d put the model name here in the description in case anyone is looking for a pair of adventure worthy, somewhat minimalist sandals. They are from Bedrock Sandals and are the Cairn Pro model. Currently there’s a “Carin Pro 2” model available, and I’d pick those ones up if I was purchasing a new pair (they’re the same as the old Pros, but with a hook and loop for the heel strap instead of the velcro that mine has). Also, I’m not into the 3D model, as they’re a little less minimal than the regular–but that’s a personal preference. I’ll put a link here to the product page in case you’re interested. Here’s a link to the product page in case you want to check them out. https://bedrocksandals.com/collections/all-sandals/products/cairn-pro-ii-1
Feel free to tell them how awesome I am and how they need to be my official footwear sponsor.
And last, I made reference to one of my previous videos that was filmed in this area. That video can be found with this link: https://youtu.be/htEhZ2IU1jY
