During my desert wandering, I found a canyon that I hadn’t explored yet. It’s always interesting to navigate through terrain like this while working through difficult “life stuff” in my mind. Nature is amazing at joining with the human mind to create metaphors that help the messy stuff make more sense.
There are new places we have to explore sometimes in order to move forward and find our way. There are dark shadows lurking in these places, but also light. There’s difficult terrain that requires careful attention. There are places where the walls close in tight around us, threatening to completely halt our forward movement. And there are places that open up and allow for new action.
