A short paddle with my packraft can make for a great day trip. A breeze helped push me along toward a quiet place where I was able to get out and explore a little. The sounds of the water and of the wind rustling through the reeds somehow helped to remind me to take things slow and enjoy the process.
The full adventure potential of packrafting comes from the fact that the boat itself can pack up into your backpack, allowing you to less bound by the land and water that might otherwise stand as obstacles. For trips like this one, however, I simply use my packraft as a convenient way to get out on the water and to visit the places where it meets with the land.
