Three days of testing my ESEE PR4–a new knife from the ESEE KNIVES Camplore Series.
I wanted to see how this knife handled the kind of stuff that I do, so I put it through a number of tasks over the course of these three days and in 3 separate locations. I stripped bark, prepped tinder, and made feather sticks. I built a bow drill set and a figure four trap. I gathered medicinal plants, and I harvested and prepared a prickly pear cactus pad for cooking. Slicing, cutting, notching, carving, stripping, scraping…I got a good feel for this knife over the last few days.
